Project Assistant

A leading non-profit organization is looking a dynamic, ambitious, self-motivated Project Assistant to a Financial Adviser. 

General Duties
Co-ordinate meetings/seminars/workshops 
Co-ordinate arrangements for visiting advisors in support of the program .

Maintain a record of all incoming and outgoing doctunentation, facsimiles, email, and telephone contacts (with high level of confidentiality).

Prepare reports on a regular basis on multiple projects 
Translation of documents and interpretation of oral communications 
Substantive representation of a foreign federal agency program during the absence of the advisor .

Assist advisor in achieving access to government officials at all levels of the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
Desired Qualifications 
Higher education is preferred in one of the following: Econoinics, Business, Finance, Law or related fields. 

Computer training/ qualifications that will enable the inctunbent to perform the prescribed functions satisfactoUly: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and .Word. 
At least three years experience in Office management and administrative support activities. 
Experience in public contact, in particular contact with top government officials, plus an experience in working on internationally funded technical assistance/ development projects.
